[Walls]

Apart from baking and moping about work, there’s been a few projects here and there that I’ve spending some time on of late.

At the top of the list (or at least the top three) is my ‘study’ room. The spare room in my apartment that has spent most of its life under me as… a storage room.

It was my intention to turn it into some sort of work space…my ‘creative’ work space. But … it turned into a creative project of its own ..and ended up a Work In Progress lasting well over 12 month.

I finally made some progress in the last few weeks (yes, weeks) … mainly thanks to my finally getting hold of a 2011 calendar in the post-new year sales (it appears a calendar isn’t worth discounting until at least two months have become useless).

So now one of the walls is adorned with Calendar Pockets. I have to say, I really like them!

I’m a hoarder of all things that document my daily life : tickets, event postcards, invites, business cards, receipts from a nice restaurant… Up until now, these have been kept haphazardly in my diary, in boxes, drawers… mainly boxes. Not this year!

Not the full 12 months are up yet, but soon!

Finally out of the moving boxes and properly shelved. Yay.

Still lots to do, but…it’s slowly getting there. Proper and more photos to come when I do finally finish ‘setting’ up the room, and the rest of my apartment!

Oh, and guess you would’ve noticed I’ve got a new camera toy to play with. More in my next post… Baking time! Hehe
